I finally convinced mom to let me see PotC again. She was dubious, "Are you sure you don't want to see Legally Blonde 2 or Finding Nemo?"
Oh, and one thing: stay till the end of the credits.
Yesterday we went out of town to Drumheller. I have no idea how I survived the two hour drive with my sister and two cousins screaming in the back, high on sugar.
The Royal Tyrrell museum itself was very interesting. I visited it a couple of years earlier and there wasn't much in the way of difference.
The hoodoos were significantly smaller, probably going to collapse within the next few years.
Why anyone would want to live out in Drumheller is beyond me, but hey I'm a city slicker and walk fast naturally.
With this whole Alberta beef thing... my letter got published in the paper. Basically what happened: People were angry about Japan banning Canadian beef and there were cries of 'Why doesn't Japan ban blowfish? They're poisonous!!', drawing a parallel and saying that Albertan beef doesn't have mad cow disease.
I wrote in telling them that blowfish was cultural, and the beef was a business decision, so they have absolutely no relation. Would they please stop complaining?
I'll probably get flamed by other letters coming in.
