2003-08-13 - 9:42 a.m. I survived Spy Kids 3-D. Barely. NOTHING in that movie is really worth paying for. I waltzed out of there (or ran, actually) with a headache from the cheap 3-D glasses -my dominant eye took over during movie, so I saw mostly red... reflects on emotions at time- and feeling distinctly like I've been ripped off. Throwing my glasses into my bag along with Famous magazine (with Colin Farrell on cover), I remember thinking in a dazed fashion that I should have gone to see SWAT like any respectable person would have done. Was slightly better when mom took me to Mac to find a new foundation for her. We spent nearly an hour there, with the saleslady brushing all kinds of stuff on my mom's face. I got myself a new eyeliner, and mom got practically the whole line. Damages done yet? Yes. Earlier, I had bought a new pair of sandals, which I put on and kept admiring from every angle and boasting of its comfort to my grandma (who was shooting covetous looks at my new shoes). Now I kind of know how car people feel when they get a new car. Gotta take it everywhere!
