2003-08-31 - 7:14 a.m. I seriously dislike going down to Causeway Bay on the weekends. Must brave reckless drivers, construction workers who want to run me over with concrete-mixing trucks, and bus drivers wanting to throw you off the seats of their buses. Yup, it's a hostile world out there. But hey, despite almost having been run over by a small bus (the driver didn't even flinch or look at me as I jumped off the sidewalk in order to avoid getting hit), honked at by irritable taxi drivers as I dashed across 4 lanes of congested traffic, nearly being deafened by a yelling and swearing bus driver (who was yelling into his phone, by the way, and it hurt my ears... was sitting at the BACK) and thrown off the seat, I'm good with it all. I guess. All that made me extremely hungry, but I was going to clarinet class, so I put off eating until afterwards. My clarinet tutor told me to eat before, when I started playing scales wrong because my stomach was growling too loudly for me to concentrate. But it turned out all good in the end when I watched Two Towers to finish off the day. I tend to skip the Arwen parts and the part where Aragorn fell off the cliff and is drifting down the river. Am rather pissed they put in that part and all those Arwen parts. But oh well. Am off to figure out tabs for Michelle Branch.
