Damn typhoon betrayed us. I went to bed, hoping the weather forecasters were right, and tomorrow would still be a typhoon 8.
Never trust the weather forecast.
Oh yes, the typhoon's still there, and it's closer to us than it was yesterday when the typhoon warning came on. But it's just depressed. That's right, a tropical storm depression! Please, somebody give it some therapy so it can be up and raging again!
The typhoon moved faster than expected through Hong Kong. Now it's slowing down as it goes through southern China. Mreh, now I have to go to school.
I didn't even hear anything last night and this was supposed to be the strongest typhoon of the year because it had two eyes! Hmph. And we probably won't get another typhoon until next year because autumn is approaching and there are never typhoons during autumn and winter!
I feel betrayed. Blegh. Typhoons.
ARGH! The Hong Kong Observatory website says the US is getting Hurricane Fabian and Hawaii's gonna get Tropical Storm Jimena!
