2004-09-18 - 8:28 a.m. I know I haven't written in a while. I was thinking about making a new layout. You know, start anew and all that. Then I remembered that I let my sister delete Adobe Photoshop because I thought I was retired from layout making. A year ago I would've clung to the computer crying, "Don't you dare touch my life support!" but at that moment in a burst of spontaneity I thought I wouldn't need it anymore. Besides, it's a pretty big application and the guy whom I borrowed it from hates my very guts now. I went for about a month without photoshop, basically surviving on MSN Messenger alone (can practically hear Microsoft gloating), and on my searches for Ian Thorpe desktops (as of swimming events ending and me returning to my computer in HK) were made on google instead of making them myself. Even though I had to endure plenty of sites like this, "mY nAmE iS aNgEl n i LuV thOrPeY!" in order to find mediocre desktops, I never once considered getting back my Photoshop, once my best friend in the (cutthroat) world of layout designing. Perhaps we'll get the site back up. Perhaps we won't. We artistic types are fickle people.
